2024-2025 Tryouts

In order to tryout,  all Athletes must have a Physical on file with the Athletic Department. If you need a Physical Form please see Coach Frick.

Question & Answer Information on Basketball Tryouts.

Question: When are Basketball Tryouts?

Answer: Wednesday November 6th,  Thursday November 7th, and Friday November 8th. From 4:20 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Question: What time do I need to be picked up from Tryouts?

Answer: 6:30 p.m.

Question: Where are Tryouts being held?

Answer: Hildebrandt New Gym

Questions: Can my parents, family, and/or friends watch me tryout?

Answer: No, the tryout process is closed to all public.

Question: When are Cuts?

Answer: There will only be a one cut after tryouts on Friday November 8th.

Question: Where will cuts be posted and how will I be notified?

Answer: Cuts will be posted in your Basketball Tryouts Schoology Classroom. If your Student ID Numbers is on the list you have made the team and need to be at Practice Saturday November 9th. Saturday morning, 7th Grade Practice 8am-10am and 8th Grade Practice 10am-12am. If your Student ID number is not on the list feel free to ask us why and what you can work on to improve your game Monday the 11th.

Question: What do I wear to Tryouts?

Answer: Athletic shorts, shirt or jersey, and basketball shoes if possible or athletic shoes that lace up.

Question: Can I wear jewelry?

Answer: No 

Question: Am I allowed to bring my cell phone to tryouts?

Answer: No, all cell phones and electronic devices need to remain locked up in the locker room area at all times. During tryouts, coaches will allow phones and Chromebooks to be placed in the Coaches' office if you do not have a locker.

After he has joined he needs to fill out the Tryout information Sheet that's located in the Welcome folder.
