The Scribble Society is a creative writing club at Haude Elementary. Last year, our students came up with their own ideas for their stories, featuring original characters they designed and drew. Students created talking tacos, karate penguins, hotdog detectives, speedy snails, and talking beans, as well as many other fun characters. The students were so excited about their characters that we thought it would be a great opportunity to partner with the Klein Collins Family and Consumer Science Department. We sent them a few samples of our students’ characters and asked if they could create three-dimensional versions of our students' characters. Our students anxiously waited to see their characters come to life and Klein Collins did not disappoint. The Scribble Society students published two books last year that will be a available for check out later this fall.
