📚 Reading
We are learning to make connections between what we read and our own experiences, other books, and the world around us.
Ask your child: “What does this story remind you of?”

✏️ Writing
Our young authors will develop their ideas by talking, drawing, and writing. We will practice turning our thoughts into complete stories.

🔢 Math
We are representing numbers up to 120 using objects, pictures, base-ten blocks, expanded form, and standard form.
Example: 46 = 40 + 6

🔬 Science
We are learning that a system is made of different parts that work together. Students will identify the parts of familiar systems and explain what each part does.

🏫 Social Studies
We are learning how authority figures at home and school help keep us safe, maintain order, and solve conflicts peacefully.

💡 Practice at Home
Choose a number from 1–120. Ask your child to draw it using tens and ones and write it in expanded form.
