WHAT IS CCMR?
College Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) is about preparing students for life after graduation. It is made up of curriculum, resources, programs and activities that help students have the tools they need to enter college or the workforce and begin a career.
HOW TO MEET CCMR?
CCMR is met by achieving only 1 of the following:
Meet the criteria of 3 or higher on an AP examination or 4 on IB examination
Meet TSI criteria via SAT, ACT, TSIA*
Complete Texas College Bridge Prep Course in English. Math is no longer accepted for CCMR per the State of Texas.
Complete a dual credit course
Earn an associate degree
Complete an OnRamps course
Earn a Level I or Level II certificate
Earn an industry-based certification (IBC)
Complete a program of study in CTE
Graduate with a completed IEP and workforce readiness
Enlist in one of the armed forces

Juniors - Early release/late arrival
Seniors - Early release/late arrival & except from finals pending student meets additional indicators

Register to take TSI-A exam for Math & English OR
September - April: Offered throughout the school year free at KCHS
Year Around - Lone Star College
Complete Texas College Bridge for Math & English
