The student, parent/guardian are all considered CONTRIBUTORS for the FAFSA.
If the student starts the FAFSA application first, they will need the parent/guardian's social security number, DOB, and email in order to invite them into the application.

Complete Opt-out FAFSA Form (does not restrict students from complete FAFSA form)

Opt-out FAFSA Form - drop by Counseling Office (cannot accept digital signature)
Financial Aid Overview
There are basically three types of federal financial aid:
Grants - financial aid that does not have to be paid back.
Work Study Programs - jobs for students that help them meet educational expenses.
Loans - money that must be paid back with interest.
