About Mrs. Thompson

My name is Abby Thompson and I am proud to be a Grizzly at Greenwood Forest! I am so excited to begin my 4th year teaching art at this wonderful school! I love the enthusiasm the students have for new projects and new art mediums. I enjoy watching the students' artistic abilities change and grow each year. I love that I get to see everyone in the entire school every week and every year that they are here at Greenwood Forest!

I grew up in Klein and I am proud to come back to my community that I was raised.

I have taught art internationally to students around the world for 9 years in Istanbul, Turkey, Manila, Philippines and Shanghai, China. I loved seeing the world but I was ready to come back home to Klein!

We will have a fun year in Art!
