Thank you to all of the family and friends who joined us for today's Entry Point. You are all a very important part of these children's education and it makes them so happy to be able to share some time showing what they are learning.
Please note that assessment papers will be sent home from every year group on Monday.

The Week Ahead and Home Learning
Book Week (NEXT WEEK!)
Our school will be celebrating Book Week next week — one of the most anticipated events in our school calendar! More details can be found on our Google Site. Please take note of the key information below:
Book Fair – Monday, 2nd March: 2A & 2L; Tuesday, 3rd March: 2T & 2Y; Wednesday, 4th March: 2O & 2B
If your child would like to purchase books or reading materials at the Book Fair, they may bring money to school next week. The maximum amount that we recommend is RM35.
Book Character Parade - Friday, 6th March 2026
Students are invited to dress up as a book character of their choice, paired with their regular school shoes and socks for comfort and safety. The character does not need to be related to the books currently being read in class. If your child prefers not to participate, they should attend school in their regular school uniform. We kindly encourage students to choose book characters rather than superhero characters for this event.
Poetry, Expression and Reading Competition
Further details are available on our Google Site. Padlet Link: https://padlet.com/suzannecrompton/poetry-expression-and-reading-competition-entry-board-lbhjl2kgjuxxqwqf
All of the year 2 classes will have a chance to join a story telling session by the Year 9 students.
A reminder: you are all invited to our “Day in the Life” Entry Point on 12 March. We look forward to seeing everyone there. Thank you for your support.
We anticipate that the holy month of Ramadan will begin on Wednesday 18th February. This means that when we return to school after the holidays, some members of staff and students may be participating in fasting.
To respect those who are fasting, students may go to the library during breaks and lunch.
Theme: A Touch of Pink – Small Detail, Big Support!
Attire: Regular school uniform with pink accessories (e.g., socks, shoelaces, ribbons, headbands, or wristbands).
Donation: A voluntary minimum contribution of RM10 in support of Menses Health Organisation’s care kits and educational materials (detailed info in the poster).
runs from the 9th to the 13th of February, with Safer Internet Day taking place on Tuesday, the 10th This year's theme is "Together for a better internet." You can find more details on planned activities and resources here.
We are organising an internet safety talk hosted by Celcom Digi. I've included the details for you in the attached poster. This event is open to all TISKL parents and will be held online.

Welcome back to school, dearest students and parents! For new families, welcome to TISKL!
Our lessons will begin 7:50 am promptly. Class attendance is updated on a daily basis on the iSams platform by 8:00 am, thus if your child turns up after 8:00 am, he or she is considered late to school. In the first week of school, you will receive a welcome letter and email from your child's class teacher. Here are some other things that you should take note of:
You may send all books and stationery to school, as many of these items are kept in the classrooms. Kindly ensure that your child's belongings are clearly labelled with his/her name and class.
Please make sure that your child has his/her breakfast and lunch meals ready unless he/she is purchasing food from the cafeteria. In this case, ensure that your child has sufficient balance in his/her student ID tag card via the Vircle app. Pre-ordered meals can also be done on the app. If you have concerns about your Vircle app, kindly ask our admissions staff to assist you.
Our dismissal time is at 2:50 pm (Mondays to Thursdays, plus minus 3 minutes) and 12:15 pm (Fridays only, plus minus 3 minutes). Given the ongoing construction work, we kindly ask that you manage your time wisely for the pick-up times. Van and bus students will have their pick-up points by their respective drivers. If there is a change in your child's pick up (different person picking up, early pick-up or late pick-up), please be sure to inform your child's class teacher and Year Leader (Ms. Stephanie) accordingly.
