1st October 2025
On October 1st, our Year 6 students had the unique opportunity to connect with the leaders shaping today's technological landscape at our "Innovators of Tomorrow" showcase. The event was designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, providing students with a firsthand look into the exciting and dynamic careers that await them.
We were incredibly fortunate to welcome a panel of distinguished parent innovators, each a leader in their respective field. A heartfelt thank you to our speakers for generously sharing their time, passion, and expertise:
Ms. Jennifer, who demystified the world of STEM Education and the power of coding.
Ms. Shalini, who provided critical insights into the essential field of Cybersecurity.
Mr. Muhammad Tariq, who explored the fascinating and evolving domain of Artificial Intelligence.
Ms. Ramitha, who shed light on the crucial role of technology in the Energy sector.
The "Innovators of Tomorrow" event was a powerful embodiment of our Taylor's 3R learning philosophy, demonstrating how we are nurturing students to be prepared for a complex future. The showcase was:
Relevant: By hearing directly from professionals, students could see the real-world relevance of their studies in science, math, and digital literacy. The sessions provided a clear answer to the question, "Why do we need to learn this?"
Responsible: Discussions, particularly around cybersecurity and AI, highlighted the importance of being responsible digital citizens and the ethical considerations that come with creating and using powerful technologies.
Resilient: Our speakers shared stories of challenges and problem-solving, inspiring students to embrace curiosity and develop the resilience needed to succeed in innovative fields.
This holistic approach is the cornerstone of fostering true Digital Agility—the ability not just to use technology, but to adapt, create, and thrive in a world of constant change.
A special highlight of the event was the exceptional leadership demonstrated by our own Year 6 Digital Leaders. They confidently took charge of the showcase, introducing each speaker with poise and professionalism, and expertly managing a lively and insightful Q&A session with their peers. Their performance was a testament to the leadership skills and confidence we aim to cultivate in all our students.
The "Innovators of Tomorrow" showcase was more than just a presentation; it was a vibrant example of our community in action, connecting student learning with parental expertise. We extend our immense gratitude once again to our speakers for inspiring our students. We are excited to see how these young innovators will use these insights to shape the future.
