The Young Investor Society offers a valuable opportunity for aspiring young business professionals interested in deepening their understanding of entrepreneurship. This program will help develop both the skills and character needed to succeed as an entrepreneur. You'll have the chance to learn from the experiences of others—how they started their businesses and the challenges they overcame on their path to success.
Objective(s)
The objectives of the Young Investor Society are to provide students with opportunities to explore entrepreneurship at a young age. It also helps students earn money and manage their finances effectively. Through the program, they learn how to handle money in both their daily lives and within the business world.
Who should sign up?
Y12 & Y13 Business students.
Prerequisite:
Business background and interested to be an entrepreneur.
The ability to find a solution to a situation or challenge
The ability to set clear, tangible goals and devise a robust route to achieving them
Bursa Saham Stock Exchange
Stock market simulations using Bursa Malaysia's i-Invest platform
Educational workshops on trading, capital markets, and ESG investing
Virtual tours or talks from Bursa analysts or market regulators
Securities Commission Malaysia (SC)
Joint webinars or campaigns on ethical investing and financial fraud awareness
Inclusion of YIS students in SC’s InvestSmart® programs
Career talks with regulators and finance professionals
