BCI technology picks up nerve signals from the brain using special electrodes and processors and transmits to a downstream machine.
Objective(s)
Collect and use nerve signals from the muscles of your:
arms to scroll through documents
eyes to present PowerPoint slides.
head to play Tetris.
Conduct university-level research:
Collect, characterize, and analyze brain signals from different individuals during different activities.
Who should sign up?
Y13 students with IGCSE-level programming experience
Y12 students with IGCSE-level programming experience or self taught equivalent & willing to take this program for 2 years (research write-up)
Prerequisite:
IGCSE-level programming experience or self taught equivalent & willing to take this program for 2 years (research write-up)
Only shortlisted candidates will be enrolled based on an internal selection process - apply before 2nd September 2025
