Where are our graduates now

Our 2020/2021 A-Level cohort has made us proud!

Many have received offers from prestigious universities (this list is not exhaustive) to pursue further studies. It has been a challenging time for them these past two years, but we are glad that the hard experiences have made them stronger and more resilient.

OUR ACHIEVERS

MEET OUR ALUMNI

Meet Min Khian, who is currently studying in the Faculty of Arts, majoring in Psychology at University of British Columbia.

Min Khian studied at HIS for 5 years, up to A-Levels. He was very active in many facets of academic, sports and community life when he was with us.

In his own words:

“At the end of the day, when we look back, these activities are what will make our academic career more interesting, more inspiring and more enlightening.”

We are thankful to have Min Khian being part of the HIS family. He embodies what it means to be a true HELPian, living life in all its fullness.

We wish you all the very best, Min Khian! Thank you for always keeping in touch with us. We are proud of you.

Meet our alumni, Zhao Qi!

He is currently studying Design Engineering at Imperial College in London. Zhao Qi was with HIS for 7 years, since the school started. We have watched him grow from a pre-teen to a strapping young lad!

He was an active participant in the HIS community. He was involved in World Scholar’s Cup and travelled to Vietnam and the US to attend its events.

He started a ‘App Development’ Club where he taught others about making iOS apps. He also interned with the school’s marketing department, helping with promotional events outside of school, and edited and articles for the annual yearbook in the Yearbook Club.

He had many opportunities to explore his interest in

Design Technology subject. He created products such as chocolate packaging, display stands, and a small scale hydropower system. This subject ignited his passion to pursue Design Engineering.

We are so proud of you Zhao Qi! Thank you for giving us the privilege to be part of your journey. Continue to spread your wings and fly high!

Meet our alumni, Carrisa Tan.

Carissa is currently studying Biochemistry at University College London in the UK. Her passion for this is spurred by her motivation to improve many aspects of our daily lives from curing diseases to increasing efficiency in agriculture.

She has shown great interest in this field since from an early age. She has been part of the Eco-Schools since she joined HIS, which gave her many opportunities to be more educated and involved with sustainability. Being involved in Eco Day was an unforgettable milestone in her life. Being part of the organising committee was a stressful, but the sight of hundreds of students, teachers and parents participating in the event was a defining moment in her life.

We are so proud of you, Carissa! The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. We wish you all the very best. Continue to live your life in all its fullness!
