The goal of the Student Athletic Council, established at Korea Kent Foreign School, is to provide the greatest possible learning experience for each student member with guidance from knowledgeable adult supervisors. Participating high school student-athletes will develop as leaders by engaging in the athletic life of the school in meaningful ways. The Kent Student-Athlete Council (KSAC) is a representative body of student-athletes at KKFS. The mission of the council focuses on three areas which ultimately aim to provide student-athletes with the best athletic experience possible at KKFS.
1. Advisory Role
Act as the voice of the Korea Kent Foreign School student-athletes.
Suggest improvements to the program base on the athlete’s prospective.
Report concerns from fellow athletes to the AD.
2. School Sprit and Mentor Role
Provide support through the various fundraising activities of the athletic program. All funding generated by the KSCAC is used wholly for the benefit of the athletic programs
Build a sense of community among all KKFS fans
Promote sportsmanship in the interscholastic athletic program .
Act as a role model for fellow athletes.
Mentor younger athletes by providing suggestions on how to successfully navigate KKFS as an athlete
Encourages athletic participation and support from the student community
Makes recommendations to fans for appropriate behavior at athletic contests.
Investigates ways to communicate athletic news to the school community
3. Athletic Role
Assist with League Events- set up, break down, etc.
Assist the KKFS Athletic Administrator
Assist in planning other athletic events
Community Service.
