Presently teaching courses of undergraduate programme in Economics at K. K. Das College, University of Calcutta, since September, 2014.
My teaching career started at Calcutta Girls College.
Subsequently, I have taught Economics at undergraduate level at Asutosh College, Kolkata, Desbandhu College for Girls, Kolkata and Jyotirmoy School of Business (AICTE approved PGDM), Kolkata.
Research Experiences:
Completed the M.Phil dissertation titled as ‘Poverty and Deforestation in India’, under the supervision of Professor Pradipta Chowdhury.
I have been a Research Associate at New Concept Information Sysytems (NCIS), New Delhi and a freelance consultant at Genesis Fintec Limited, Kolkata.
I have been associated with various Socio-economic research studies, Economic Surveys, Baseline and Evaluation studies and surveys conducted by different departments of state government, ministries of central government, UN organizations like UNCTAD and NGOs
