"And I think to myself...what a wonderful world!"

       Hello! Most of you know my husband Owen. My oldest son Bryden, who graduated with a degree in kinesiology from U.N.D. a couple of years ago, moved to Fargo this year and is in nursing school. Jadyn, who farms with my brother and lives in Hallock, will be marrying Alyssa Kilen next spring. I am beyond excited to get a smart, beautiful daughter! We also have the world's most neighborly dog, Sven, and a cat, Kitty. Owen and I live southwest of town on my family farm. I am a graduate of Hallock High School, Williston State College, Concordia College, and Minnesota State University-Moorhead. In my free time, I love watching sports, reading historical fiction or mysteries, and baking. I have my own small baking business Sweets from Skane, located in my farm kitchen in Skane Township. I am very much looking forward to my 31st year of teaching-thirteen of them at Kittson Central. I previously taught in Idaho and North Dakota. I can't wait to see what unfolds this year!
