Classroom Expectations

Hello, I am very excited to have your child in my class this year. This will be my second year teaching 1st grade. My expectations for your students this year are for them to work hard, always try their best, and to treat each other with kindness. In this class students will pull cards for positive or negative behavior. If students work hard throughout the week they will earn extra opportunities on fun Friday. Students on their best behavior will also be chosen for classroom jobs and prizes. If students have had a difficult week they will not be able to participate in all of the activities on Friday. Each day students will get a new chance to start over. If students do not meet expectations this may also result in a call home or be sent to the office.
