Welcome to the KISU Lions sports and clubs webpage!

KISU has a strong and successful sports program for both primary and secondary students. Student-athletes compete against seven other international schools in the International School Sports' Association of Kampala (ISSAK). Team sports (football, basketball, volleyball) along with individual pursuits (athletics, swimming, cross-country) are spread throughout the sports calendar and culminate in championships at the end of a season.

The extensive co-curricular club program offers students an opportunity to pursue further options such as rugby, lacrosse, Zumba, computer programming and many more. During any given week over 30 clubs are offered across all age groups.

All students at KISU are allocated a house (Bwindi, Otukei, Kibale, Semliki) and compete against their peers in an effort to be crowned end-of-year house champion! Many of these intra-school competitions also provide the sports department a chance to select students that will represent KISU in individual ISSAK championship events.
