Larry F. Trentin

(1931-2005)

Larry Trentin born August 29th, 1931 was a Korean War veteran.  Mr. Trentin served in the Air Force and the Air Force Reserves. He served from September 9, 1949 to January 9, 1961. Lieutenant Trentin was in the weather stations units Newfoundland and Azores. Lieutenant Trentin received a Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Cold War Service Pin. His hometown was North Vandegrift and he was a graduate of Vandegrift High School President of his class. Trentin attended the University of Pittsburgh and earned a degree in Business Management and Labor Relations. Mr. Trentin also attended the Harrisburg School of Higher Learning. He retired from the Department of Army Engineers as a Management Analyst. Lieutenant Trentin and his wife Gloria have three children, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. They reside in Lower Burrell, Lieutenant Larry F. Trentin  passes away on June 15, 2005.
