Thomas Lippolis
Thomas L. Lippolis was born in Alberobello, Italy on November 23, 1890. He later immigrated to the United States, and moved to Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to seek a better life with more opportunities than his native country had offered him. At age 26, he was drafted for World War I. He became a member of the United States Armed forces, and his branch was most likely, but not definitively, the Army. Before going into the service Lippolis worked as a laborer for United Engineering in Vandergrift. He lived a solitary life being that he had no relatives here, and did not have a spouse. He died on December 13, 1967 and is buried in Greenwood Memorial Park.
