Theodore Spekis
Theodore J “Skeets” Spekis served in the United States army as a tank mechanic. He was born in Vandergrift Pennsylvania on March 12, 1916. On October 31, 1941 he enlisted into the Army in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Before enlisting he finished three years of high school. At age 26 he enlisted into the army. Residing in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania; he worked as a G.M. technician at Keddie Chevrolet before retiring in 1991. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and following sports. He died at 92 years old on March 25, 2012 in Natrona Heights.
