Stanley J. Tygielski

Stanley Joseph ¨Tucker¨ Tygielski...

...was born February 1, 1929, in Gilpin Township to  John and Lucy (Catalino) Tygielski and passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Family Hospice and Palliative Care Pittsburgh from age.

Stanley J., a man of many passions and talents, was most commonly known by his loved ones as ¨Tucker¨. After graduating from the former Georgetown High School in Leechburg, Tucker joined the Army by serving our country during the Korean War. 

Upon his return, Stanley ¨Tucker¨ Tygielski was employed as a steelworker at Allegheny Ludlum Bagdad Plant for almost 50 years, retiring in 198. He also had numerous memberships alongside local organizations. Some include memberships with the St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, VFW Post 566 in Vandergrift, the Disabled American Veterans Post 36 in Pittsburgh, served as an umpire for the American Legion Post 266 softball league in Leechburg, where he also was a former county commander, and often volunteered with Meals on Wheels and Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington.

Tuckers wide range of passions and talents consisted of hunting and fishing, attending Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games, gardening, and spending avid time with family.

Tucker will be greatly missed by sisters of whom he leaves behind, Josephine Marie Schneider and Augustine Garmong, his children, Stanley John (Kimberly) Tygielski of Allegheny Township and Vanessa L. (Robert) Fabrizi of Washington Township; his grandchildren, Louis M. (Kathleen) Fabrizi of Hershey, Daniel J. Fabrizi of Tampa Florida, and Brittany A. Tygielski of Allegheny Township will also miss him dearly.  Also great-grandson, Nicolas G. Fabrizi of Hershey with a sibling on the way and many nieces and nephews.
