Donald Lee Rowe

Donald Lee Rowe was a Korean War Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy from December 4th 1947 out of San Diego, CA to the 17th of December in 1951. Rowe was stationed at a hospital in emergency medical services and pre-op in Yokosuka, Japan from 1950 to 1951. For his service he was awarded the Navy Occupational Medal, a Korean Service Medal, and a Unit Citation Award for Outstanding Service. The Unit Citation Award was given to him after the 5,000 Marines arrived from Chosin Reservoir to the U.S. Naval Hospital of December 1950. Rowe married his teenage sweet heart and mother to his children, Charlene LaVonne Smith on April 20th, 1954 in Long Beach, California; divorced, and they remained lifelong friends. He enjoyed Football, woodcrafts, spending time with family and friends and caring for his pets. Rowe has three children, all of which are women.
