Richard p. Freshwater was born April 4th, 1931. Richard grew up in Westmoreland County where he graduated from Vandergrift high school where he received his diploma. Richard would later become a Corporal for the U.S. Army. He was remembered for his brave actions during the Korean War . Richard also married the love of his life, Barbara J. Freshwater. Richard died April 27th, 1975 after a long and successful life. Richard is currently buried at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
