J. Ulrich Matthis
John Ulrich Matthis was born on December 2, 1931 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. He attended Vandergrift High School graduating in the class of 1949. A few years later on November 20, 1952, John enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Korean War. After returning from the war, he worked with various businesses as a mechanical designer. John passed away January 25, 2016 in the Alle-Kiski Medical Center.
