Martin R. Sulava

Martin R. Sulava was born on October 15, 1920 in West Leechburg, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the army at the age of 22 on July 22, 1942. He served as a sergeant in the Pacific Theater in the Warrant Officers branch. As a warrant officer, he acted as a disbursing agent while serving. For his service, he received the Asiatic, Pacific Campaign, American Campaign, and Good Conduct medals. After returning home from war, Martin married his wife Pauline and they had 10 children together.
