George Mahen
George Mahen was born on November 2nd, 1919 in Dubois, Pennsylvania. Residing in Washington Township for most of his life, George was a graduate of Washington Township High School. He was a member of the Eighth Air Force, and served in Europe during the second world war. When he was not serving in the military, he worked as a painter and wallpaper hanger. Mahen worked for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Union. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He passed away on December 28th, 2014.
