Louis V. Slivan

Louis V. Slivan was born on November 15, 1928 in Kelly Station, Bethel Township. He lived in Buffalo Township for 35 years, but graduated from Vandergrift High School. He then went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh. He served in the Korean War as part of the Army Corps of Engineers. Prior to his retirement, he was a division manager for Peoples Natural Gas Company. He was a member of the VFW in Natrona Heights, as well as the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church. He was married to his wife Joyce (Shaw) Slivan for 51 years, and he is also survived by his two sisters, Helen Durandetto and Frances Mozjesik, as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
