Alfred Linhart 

Alfred Linhart was born in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Marine Corps, during both World War II and the Korean War.  In World War II, he was wounded during battle and carried the bullet with him to Korea. In the Korean war, he was injured so badly that he needed a metal plate put in is head.  During his deployment to Korea, he fought mostly around the DMZ (Demilitarized zone). He was present for the flag raising at Iwo Jima in 1945.
