James E. Ferraccio

James E. Ferraccio, 76, of died Friday June 7, 2002.  He was born Feb. 14, 1926, in Vandergrift, he lived in the borough all of his life. He was a 1944 graduate of Vandergrift High School. A Navy veteran, Mr. Ferraccio served during World War II. Prior to retiring in 1994, he was the owner and operator of Ferraccio Brothers Plumbing and Heating in Vandergrift. Mr. Ferraccio was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, where he was a former president of the parish council, Men's Club, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Bari Club, all of Vandergrift, and the Leechburg Elks. Survivors include a son, Chester J. Ferraccio of Vandergrift; a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Ann (Eugene) Kaminski of Greenville, S.C.; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Amelia Krotzer of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla. and Pompey Sciullo of Vandergrift. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leonora "Lee" Ferraccio in 1996; his parents, James Sr. and Lucy Ferrare Ferraccio; six brothers, Peter A. "Pete" in 1993, Anthony, Joseph, Michael, John and Benjamin Ferraccio; and a sister, Carmela Donghia.
