James E. Baker
James E. Baker, born February 14th 1918 in Chippewa Township, son of the late Vincent and Nellie Baker was a World War II veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Babcock and Wilcox Company. His wife, Hazel V. Baker had died two months before him on March 2, 2000. The two had a son and daughter-in-law, Larry G. and Karen Baker; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and John Zinich, and Marilyn and Gary Eaton. James and Hazel also had three grandchildren; Stacey Sabo, Sheila Edwards, and Ian Baker. He had two sisters Charlotte Baker and Betty Carpenetti. James died on May 21, 2000 and was buried in the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, Beaver County, PA.
