George Morlacci

George Morlacci was born in 1927 and was born and raised in Vandergrift Pennsylvania. Mr. Morlacci was a member of the United States Army and died in battle. Before he enlisted in the Army, he designed and patented a process for power plant stem generators. He started a small company in his garage on Longfellow Street in Vandergrift. He was the son of Angelo and Constance Morlacci. He had two brothers and one sister by the names of Henry, Robert, and Theresa.  He married a woman named Kay but divorced her before his enlistment in the war. Due to his achievements in the war, he was awarded the Purple Heart. His death date is inconclusive because he died in combat.
