Born on December 6, 1927 in Brownstown, PA he was a son of the late Alceste A. and Mary Ann (Uvena) Gabrielli.

He lived in the Apollo area most of his life where he was employed by NUMEC for 15 years and retired in 1990 as coordinator of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management system

He was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Apollo; served as president of the Apollo Lions Little League for 9 years, was a former board member of the Armstrong County Sports Hall of Fame, member of the Apollo Fire Company #2 and a 1946 graduate of Apollo High School.

(Jerry) Shellhammer of Kiski Township and Celeste L. Scott of Cheswick; brother, Frank Gabrielli of Bremerton, WA; sister, Rosemary Ravetto of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Lisa Keene of Connecticut, Amy Maszgay of Vandergrift, Melissa Gabrielli of Apollo, Nichole Gabrielli of Vandergrift, Nicholas Gabrielli of Vandergrift and Matthew Scott of Cheswick and many nieces and nephews.
