Emanuel Silvestri
Emanuel Silvestri, died at age 74 of the Washington Township he was born December 15, 1930, in Vandergrift and lived in Washington Township all of his life. He was in the Navy during the Korean war. He retired as a Lab Supervisor in 1992 from Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh after working there for 23 years. He also worked in the Veterans Administration hospital in Oakland for 16 years. He was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Apollo, and the American Society of Medical Technologists. His remains are buried at St. Gertrude Memorial Cemetery.
