Telespor A. Dunskis 

Telespor A. "Toots" Dunskis was born on August 5 1922. He resided in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania and lived their for the entirety of his life. He never married, and he had 1 year of high school education. He was enlisted for the Army on November 27th 1942. He was among the selectees (enlisted men) and his enlistment number was 33411513. He was enlisted in Greensburg, PA and was in the Private First Class rank. A veteran, he served in World War II with the Army and participated in the D-Day Invasion on Normandy Beach, France, and the Battle of the Bulge with the "Railsplitters" Company. He was the recipient of several citations and commendations.

Mr. Dunskis worked in the finishing department of Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., West Leechburg Works, for 35 years. Also, he was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Vandergrift. After moving to Rochester, New York in 1997, he remained to live the rest of his life before passing away on February 1, 2004, at 81 years old. He lived an honorable life and was commended greatly. Telespor A. “Toots” Dunskis is buried in the Saint Gertrude Memorial Cemetery in Vandergrift, PA.

He was born in Vandergrift and lived there the majority of his life before moving to Oklahoma Borough in 1980, and then eventually to Rochester N.Y., where he died at 81.  As a veteran, he served in World War II with the Army. He left behind his wife, Nazhat Yazbeck Dunskis; his two daughters, Mrs. Juanita (Thomas) Amaditz and Mrs. Janet (William) Hufford; eight grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Adella Nadon. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Oriente T. Delvecchio Dunskis, in 1997; his parents, Vincent A. and Petronele "Pearl" Poscus Dunskis; a brother, Joseph Dunskis; and a sister, Eleanor Gandino.
