John W. “Jack” Craig Jr.
John W. Craig was born on April 11, 1928 in Allegheny County. Craig enlisted into the Korean War around the age of 22. He was a U.S. Army Medic in the 28th Infantry, serving in Germany. He lived to be a Korean War Veteran, devoting 33 years of his life to being a printer at the Portage Dispatch and Johnstown Tribune Democrat. Craig was also a member of the CWA-ITU Union and an officer at Mount Union Cemetery. John W. “Jack” Craig Jr. passed away at the age of 81 on January 18, 2010.
