Robert F. Jewell
Robert F. Jewell was an Engineman Third Class of the Navy and a veteran of the Korean War. He was born on September 5th, 1929 in Leechburg and he died on May 6th, 2016 in Natrona Heights. Mr. Jewell was employed by Babcock & Wilcox, Parks Township, for more than 20 years, retiring in 1979 as a foreman in the Hafnium Department. Mr. Jewell was employed for four years at Wean United Foundry, Vandergrift. He also was employed by the Kiski Area School District as a custodian. He enjoyed hunting and woodworking. He was a lifetime member of the Parks Township Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as chief, assistant chief and president.
