James Vincenzio Nardulli

Sergeant James Vincenzio Nardulli proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He fought on Normandy Beach as part of the D-Day invasion, fought, in Africa, and throughout Europe.

Jim often said that he came home from the war “without a scratch”. He also promised that if he came home, he would never leave the country again, and he did fulfill that promise.

Mr. Nardulli was the co-owner of Paglarulli and Nardulli Concrete in Vandergrift until his retirement. He was also an avid sports enthusiast as a Steeler fan. He also enjoyed and loved watching college basketball. Jim held a basketball record at the then Vandergrift High School, and he excelled in mathematics.

He took pride in growing tomatoes, and he occasionally dabbled in winemaking.  He enjoyed sitting on the front porch and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well.
