Chester Debick
Chester Debick was born on November 3, 1921 in Edri, Pennsylvania. He grew up with his family in Avonmore. Chester Debick was in the Coast Guard serving during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was in the Coast Guard from 1942 to 1945. Before serving in the Coast Guard, he graduated from Avonmore High School in 1939. He also worked at Reynolds Manufacturing in Avonmore. He was also a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. Chester Debick passed away on July 25, 2010 at the age of 88.
