Oliver Paul Bush

First Lieutenant Oliver Paul Bush served in the World War 1 between 1917 and 1918. 

Bush was born on March 12, 1893 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Bush graduated from Pennsylvania State University; and in 1915 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree when he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While living in York , Pennsylvania with his wife, he filled out his draft registration card and enrolled into the army. At this current time, he was 24 years old and working as a dentist. 

After serving from 1917 to 1918 as First Lieutenant in the Army Medical Corps, he settled down in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania and continued his work as a dentist from 1919 through 1977. At the age of 87, Oliver Bush died on September 29, 1980 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. He is remembered for his service during World War 1 providing high quality healthcare to soldiers.
