Stephen Sazalsky

Stephen J. Sazalsky was born April 13, 1979 and grew up on Emerson Street in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. Before entering the military, he attended our own Kiski Area High School, where he graduated in 1997.  

Stephen Sazalsky served in the Army and rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He courageously fought in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. 

Upon his separation from service, Stephen came back to Western Pennsylvania where he worked for the Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) in Murrysville PA.  Mine Safety Appliances is a maker of sophisticated safety products that help protect workers who may be exposed to a variety of hazardous conditions.
