Paul B. Fryer

Paul Bradley Fryer, 61, of Vandergrift, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, in the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge, N.J. Born Sept. 13, 1947, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late Samuel H. and Mary (Goldsborough) Fryerand had lived in the area all of his life.His last residence was at 15690 Vandergrift, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. Survivors include his wife, Grace E. (McDermott) Fryer; a son, Samual Paul (Pamela Ann) Fryer, both of Vandergrift; and two grandchildren, Tara and William. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Robert Fryer; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Brown.  A veteran of the Marine Corps, he had served during the Vietnam War. Mr. Fryer had been employed by Hovis Trucking in Grove City as a truck driver. A member of First Church of God in North Apollo, also a member of the Spring Church Sportsman Club, and the Fort Hand Rifle Association, in Parks Township.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and collecting guns. Mr. Fryer's true love was spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a very thoughtful person, thinking of others before thinking of himself.
