Frank M. Jastrzembski 

Frank M. Jastrzembski was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Born on April 14, 1944, of Vandergrift, Pennsylvania served in the Vietnam War from October 1, 1962 to October 26, 1966. Frank was a member of the HMM-163 (Helicopter Marine Medium). In the HMM-163 they were also known as the Ridge runners, the mission was to provide assault transport of troops, supplies, and equipment. He participated in which what was supposed to be called Operation Satellite but a black out led to error which now we know as Operation Starlite. It was launched on D-Day, August 18, 1965 and was an attack on the Viet Cong base near Van Tuong. He had received the Combat Air Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, and Marksman Badge which all can be seen down below in the same order.
