William Beatty
William Beatty was born in Allegheny County on March 14, 1941 to Elmer Ernest Beatty and Dorothy "Tillie" Zukauskas. Growing up a white male, William attended Bell-Avon High School. In 1962 he started his basic training in New Jersey in August of 1962. He was 22 years old when he first started his journey to the Vietnam War. He went into the United States Navy after his basic training and became a Seamen. He was deployed to Vietnam in 1970. After he returned from the war he lived his days in the Pittsburgh area. He died in a hospital in 2013.
