Stanley J. Debick

Stanley Debick was born on April 4, 1929.  Stanley was the son of Charles Walter and Josephine K. Loboski Debick.  He was part of The Roman Catholic Church in Avonmore, Pa, and was a member of the American Legion Post 57 in Avonmore. Stanley was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Kiski Township Sportsmen’s Club,  the Nowrytown Sportsmen’s Club, and the Slickville Sportsmen’s Club.  He worked at the Hyde Park Foundry as a molder before he retired. Stanley served in World War II as a member of the 10th Armored Division.  He achieved the rank of technician 4th grade. Stanley was present at the Battle of the Bulge. Stanley had the great distinction of “driving tank” for General Patton.  Stanley Debick was known as a very positive man, loved dearly by his family and close friends.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and camping.  He enjoyed riding his 1939 Harley Knucklehead.  He was married to Katherine Debick and had a son named Timothy.  In his old age, his grandsons, Charles and Jeffrey, took care of him.
