James Whaley
James Whaley was born in Alabama on April 26, 1920,and moved from Alabama to 323 Elm Street, Vandergrift,Westmoreland,Pennsylvania. He was only 19 years of age when we was enlisted into the war. Before the war he did not attend school or college. He also had four sisters and one brother. During the war, James did not have a specific rank. After the war he returned home and lived with his wife and children. He died on January 8, 1987.
