Homer C. Shellhammer
Homer Clarence Shellhammer, son of Bessie Shellhammer, was born on November 7, 1909. He was a shorter man standing around five foot eight inches tall weighing roughly one hundred and forty five pounds. He was white with brown hair and blue eyes. Homer was born in Vandergrift and lived in Avonmore, Westmoreland at the time of his draft. After returning from the army he became a carpenter and died August 24, 1957.
