Herman H. Krump
Herman Henry Krump was born on April 22, 1888 in Fairmount City. He was in the military after being drafted in World War I. His mother’s name was Amelia, and he had 7 siblings. He lived in Vandergrift PA and provided for his mom. Before Mr. Krump was drafted in 1917 (at the age of 29), he worked in a steel mill as a boilermaker. After World War I, he came home and lived with his mother and sisters in Vandergrift. In 1942 he was 54 years old, and joined World War II. Mr, Krump never married, and he died in November of 1961 in Ohio.
