Earl H. Brewer

Earl Howard Brewer is remembered for his honorable actions in World War I. He was born on April 4th, 1893 and passed on November 9th 1953. Earl was a sargent part of the 80th Division. The 80th division was redesignated the 80th Airborne Division. In 1952, it was designated reserve infantry division and a reserve training division in 1959. This division operated in The Battle of the Somme (1918), Meuse-Argonne, and The Battle of Saint-Mihiel. In the start of the Meuse-Argonne, they earned the slogan "The 80th Division Moves only Forward!". The 317th infantry from Piedmont and West Virginia area, the 318 infantry from Shenandoah Valley and Tidewater areas, and the 313th infantry from Erie area were the units in this division.

Brewer is buried in the Fennelltown Cemetery, located in New Alexandria, Westmoreland County. He served as sergeant 305. He was married to Hattie Pearl Keibler Brewer, and in their marriage they had 2 children. He also had 2 sisters and 1 brother. He had a medium build, light hair, light eyes, and a medium height.
