Craig Leeper

Craig Milton Leeper is remembered for his heroic actions made in World War I. Craig was born on August 2, 1898. He was born in Bell Plain, Kansas. Craig’s parents were William George Leeper and Maude Miller-Leeper Kunkle. Craig’s older sister May, passed away in 1924.  After World War I, Craig continued his life in Vandergrift. Craig got married during this time to Lena May Cunningham Leeper. Lena and himself had two children, Margret and Arnold. Craig was 84 when he died in February 1983, and is buried in the Vandergrift Cemetery.
