To effectively work and collaborate with students, parents, educators, business/community members, and post-secondary organizations to support all students in their academic, career, and social/emotional development.  School counselors will assist all students in their unique development as responsible, productive, accountable, and successful citizens.  As a result, all students will be prepared to leave Kiski Area ready for post-secondary education and/or the workplace.

Kiski Area students can enroll in any of the Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center shops beginning in 9th grade. These include Advanced Manufacturing, Auto Body Technology (Collision Repair), Auto Mechanics Technology, Carpentry, Computer Networking/Cyber Security, Building Construction Trades, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Health Occupations, HVAC Technology, Multimedia/Digital Communications, and Welding.
