ABOUT ME:
Hello! My name is Holly Harper, I grew up in Abilene, Texas and graduated from Abilene High School in 2003!! I graduated from Hardin Simmons University with an All-Level Art Education Degree. I am certified to teach EC-12 Art and General Education EC-4. I've been teaching at Kilgore High School since August 2010 and I LOVE IT HERE!! GO DOGS!!! I love to paint with watercolors and oil paint!! In my spare time, I love to: spend time with Jesus, my daughter, my son, or my husband, and help out at Pursuit Church in Kilgore, TX! I enjoy watching movies (no scary ones), playing board games, and SINGING!! In fact, I tried out for American Idol, back in 2009, it was such a fun experience!
1st period = Art 2, 7:45 - 8:35
2nd period = Art 2, 8:39 - 9:31
3rd period = Digital Art / Art 2, 9:35 - 10:25
4th period = Art 1, 10:29 - 11:19**
5th period = Art 2 / Art 3 11:23 - 12:13
2nd lunch = 12:13 - 12:48
6th period = Art 3 / AP, 12:17 - 1:07
7th period = Art 3 / AP, 1:46 - 2:36
8th period = Conference, 2:40 - 3:30

RULES:
Be on time
The door will be locked 2 minutes after the tardy bell.
If you arrive and my door is locked, go get a tardy slip from room 111!! You will have to serve detention for every tardy.
Follow classroom Procedures & Directions
Look at the projector screen, when you walk in and there will be something on the AGENDA every day!
A. The Agenda will give you directions, if you have a question, ask the teacher!
All Materials will be found on your own table, the mirror table, or the long island table. Or Mrs. Harper will let you know where other supplies and materials can be found.
Be respectful
Please behave and treat other classmates politely.
Materials should be treated with respect.
Please treat the teacher politely and respectfully.
GRADES are either daily or test:
DAILY = 50% *Participation 50% & Behavior/On task 50%
OR sometimes as a cleaning grade
TEST = 50% *Based on: 40% Effort, 30% Creativity, 20%
Quality, 10% Followed directions.
*This is how I will grade every Finished Artwork*
Classroom Supplies =
Art 1 & 2, & Digital Art two paper towel rolls, 1 box of tissues, 1 roll of tape (scotch or masking), and #2 pencils.
Art 3 & AP, 2 boxes of tissues, 1 roll of tape (Scotch or masking), paintbrushes, and drawing pencils.
